Also different play styles, do you wanna tank and guard counter w a shield or do u wanna dodge about as with dual weapons. SgtMcMuffin0 • 2 yr. ago.
And in elden ring you also don't need extra stats. Just take two weapons of the same type (ie two curved swords, two daggers, etc) and equip one in each hand. Don't even need to press a button. Now you can press L1 to swing with both weapons (and can use it running, or jumping). 7. In Elden Ring, Tarnished will find different types of Strength-based weapons, and wielding one depends on a variety of factors such as players' stats and preferences. 22 Zweihander Location: But I've just read a post about dual wielding where it was said that the only disadvantages are: - you can't use shields. - you can't use catalysts. - the moveset changes. All of those aren't disadvantages to me when I am looking for a melee build, because I don't need spells and shields and another moveset doesn't have to mean that the moveset 2handing allows you to use whichever of the 2 is better, as well as saving smithing stones. Using 2 of them allows you to have more elements build up at the same time. Pandaa2610 • 2 yr. ago. Lets think about the standard caestus without upgrades. So its more damage to equip two of the same weapon left and right instead only one caestus 2 Golden halberd 1H/shield, 2H, or dual wield. I really wanted to put the halberd down, but whatever else I try, its damage always makes me come back to it. I decided to stick with it at least until I try the Blasphemous blade. How do you use your halberd? x9Avv4R. 69 151 421 414 192 38 143 106 171
