Ascended gear farming. Hi everyone! Kinda new to the game (have done some fractals, strikes and meta events, but nothing wild). As the title suggests, I’m looking for efficient ways to farm ascended gear. So far, I’ve got the armor pieces and weapon from the astral rewards and I also got two rings from the fractals vendor.

It has the highest stats and offers the best bonuses. However, it can be difficult to get ascended gear, as it is not available in the game’s stores. I keep 250 in my mats storage and that's it. The rest I destroy. If I ever want to make ascended gear, I can't go through more then that in a day anyway because of the crafting cooldowns, so there's no point in stockpiling. I can just go get more while the cooldown is running. The armor can be zerk exotic, but try get ascended weapons and trinkets (u can get trinkets through wvw reward tracks). This costs you less than 100g in total. This is more than sufficient to raid. By learning and starting the raids, you will get gear in itself much faster htan you ever could through WvW. Nowadays, a full set of Viper's exotic armor costs about 48 gold ( heavy, medium, light) while a full set of Viper's ascended armor costs about 254 gold ( heavy, medium, light) after about 24 to 35 days of daily crafts. Obviously there are functional benefits to making ascended armor, but I'd say that crafting exotic Viper's is fairly Bad news- current meta qFB is running full ritualist gear.. Good news- proper build and execution >>>>> gear. Just played around with en.gw2skills.net a bit. You can basicly run full Viper's gear, add a sigil of concentration, use some +boon duration food (looking at you, Peppermint Oil) TK3D. 441 197 242 299 175 329 447 475 379
