A hybrid of both qualitative deductive and qualitative inductive methods of inquiry were used with a template analysis to analyze the data collected. The study explored the idea of using Lego Serious Play to inspire creative confidence while re-introducing play, of a serious nature, into the adult vocabulary and workplace.
The paper outlines the design of a LEGO Serious Play (LSP)-based undergraduate management module delivered to a diverse group of students, and consequently evaluates the LSP workshops. It argues for the importance of participatory and co-creational approaches to management education, and demonstrates that LSP is a method that has the potential This study contributes to making the current body of knowledge on qualitative multi-method methodologies and creative visual methodologies in the field of tourism and hospitality. As such, the paper provides an overview of the LEGO 庐 Serious Play 庐 method. Specifically, this exploratory paper brings attention to how and to what end existing LEGO庐Serious Play is an experiential methodology designed to enhance innovation and performance in the business world and it is fully aligned with these needs. Previous researches show that this methodology has great potential in engineering education, and specifically in software engineering education.
